I'm a photographer based in Petaluma and wanted to let you know that we (Karen Schell and I ) got married on Sept 1 just after sunrise at your Pagoda of Infinite Reflection which I was drawn to immediately upon arrival to the playa. ( We sometimes referred to it as the "Temple of Infinite Reflection".)
Thanks and congratulations on the creation of a thoughtful and striking installation!!
The morning (Wed) was absolutely still, beautiful and golden- after many hours of strong winds. We wanted to highlight the "reflecting mirror" theme to symbolize marriage.
FYI Karen was marginally involved with the Mormon Church as a young girl- and they have their Temple marriages between mirrors. that's an odd inspiration but it resonated with us.
